Senior RF Design Engineers (Carlisle, MA facility)
Develop a variety of customized receivers and transmitters over a wide range of frequencies (HF to K-band) for space, avionics, and embedded tactical applications. Current applications include versatile multi-band transceivers, wideband receivers, linear power amplifiers, and military communications base stations. The successful candidate would be involved in the entire development process from concept and systems definition through detailed design and test and field deployment. BSEE and 8 years' minimum experience required; MSEE preferred. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a security clearance.
Quality Assurance Engineers (Chelmsford, MA facility)
Candidates must have current ISO, Military and/or Aerospace quality program experience and the capability to communicate, both written and verbally. BS degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA engineering including development, production and test of electronic systems. This is a hands-on position requiring the ability to prioritize multiple tasks of various levels of difficulty. There is 5% travel required in this position.
Required: U.S. Citizenship for government security clearance; Expertise in the inspection of CCA's to IPC-610, J-STD-001, and/or NASA 8739; BS degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA engineering; Proficient in the ability to communicate both written and verbally; Experienced in problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions; Experienced in the review of test and assembly documentation; Attention to detail, and team-oriented; ISO 9001/AS9100 knowledge; Expertise in the inspection of mechanical parts; Expertise in the identification of EEE parts.
Preferred: Knowledge of Military Specifications for EEE components; Knowledge of NASA Standards and requirements; ASQ certifications; Experience witnessing or monitoring environmental testing; Current or previously held security clearance; ISO9001 and/or AS9100 audit experience; Supplier maintenance experience.
Microsoft Excel Wizards (Carlisle, MA facility)
Full time employment openings for individuals that pay attention to detail and are proficient in Microsoft (MS) Excel. The successful candidates will apply Excel in support of ATC systems used to support their space and communications systems development efforts. Professional work experience is a plus, but not required. An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Electronics, Accounting, Finance, General Business Studies or a related field is preferred. The individuals must be US citizens and capable of a security clearance.
Earned Value Management Specialist (Carlisle, MA facility)
To implement the ATC Earned Value Management System (EVMS) on assigned ATC development programs. Functions include working with the Program Managers to develop the Program Measurement Baseline and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), prepare for and participate in the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), accomplish the earned value analyses, prepare monthly EVM cost reports and variance analysis reports, and support the presentation of the EVMS status and results to ATC management and customers. Strong organizational skills, experience in financial data management, experience with hardware or software development programs and program work breakdown structure (WBS) elements required. Candidate must possess strong Microsoft Excel skills, and have experience with Microsoft Project. BS or equivalent and related experience required. ATC is willing to train the right candidate. Candidates must be US citizens eligible for a security clearance.
Electronic Parts Test Technicians (Chelmsford, MA facility)
To perform electrical performance testing of electronic parts for space systems using both discrete test setups and automatic test equipment. Knowledge of digital, analog and/or RF parts, their test parameters and the associated test methods and fixturing is required. An AS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Test, or equivalent experience required. ATC will train selected degreed individuals.
Parts Screening Technicians (Chelmsford, MA facility)
To perform screening operations on electronic parts for space systems, including parts burn-in, thermal shock, thermal cycling, seal testing, particle impact noise detection testing and constant acceleration. Technician Training or equivalent experience required. ATC will train selected individuals.
Web Application Software Developer (Alexandria, VA facility)
Excellent opportunity for a highly adaptable engineer with proficiency in Web Application Development. The qualified candidate should have experience in a variety of MVC and ORM architectures/libraries. This individual will be working with a small, fast paced team and must be resourceful, possess the ability to demonstrate or describe self-taught technology and flexible with changing requirements. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a security clearance or possess an Active TS/SCI clearance.
Familiarity and or experience with Hadoop ecology (HDFS, ZooKeeper and writing MapReduce jobs), Database and SQL, and Unix/Linux Operating System. The list of tools/libraries/architectures that a candidate should be familiar with are: HTML5, Ajax, JAXB, Reverse Ajax implementations (DWR/Web Sockets), Grails, Spring Security, basic Linux command line navigation, SSL configuration, Web container configuration (setup of cluster, load-balancing, etc. in containers like JBoss/Tomcat).
Senior Test Engineering Manager (Chelmsford, MA facility)
Manage and coordinate the activities of a test engineering organization responsible for the final test of deliverable product which includes a variety of custom digital and analog space and aerospace electronic systems such as; software reconfigurable processors, DC to DC Switch mode power converters, RF receiving systems, multi-instrument science and particle detection systems. Provide close coordination between all corporate departments and program management personnel in the conduct of day-to-day operations across all corporate programs. Maintain and control an inventory of over 500 items of sophisticated test systems and equipment. Maintain and coordinate the use of a class 100k and class 10k clean room facility used for the assembly, integration and test of sensitive space borne electronics systems. Responsible for the development of test plans and procedures. Test activities include; bench level integration and final functional tests, thermal and thermal vacuum environmental testing, random vibration and shock testing and EMI/EMC testing. Pre-requisites for this position: BSEE, BSCS or equivalent required; MS desired. Candidates must be US Citizens eligible for a Top Secret clearance with SCI access. Must have prior leadership and managerial experience and in providing oral presentations to customer subject matter expert personnel. Experience with National Instruments products and C/C++ coding desired.
